This year’s Champion for the Open Category was Barangay Mandalagan. It was really a tough call for the judges. But from what I’ve seen, they were really good and it has to be them or Barangay Villamonte. I guess this year’s competition was quite a success and I’m looking forward next year since it will be the 30th Masskara Festival. It’s almost a guarantee that we will be having a grand festival next year…
