Tsunamis Expected to Hit Today in The Philippines

by Bacolod Blogger on February 28, 2010 · 2 comments

I was browing over the news and I came upon this article regarding of a Tsunami Alert in the Philippines. It is expected to hit us in this time of writing. The waves are estimated to be as high as a meter. This was triggered by an earthquake in Chile. Since Chile is on the other side of the Pacific, it safe to say that the tsunami’s intensity will decrease but then we are always on Nature’s Mercy. I guess all we need to do right now is stay tuned for news updates especially if you’re living on the eastern coast of the country.

Government agencies are telling everyone not to panic but be aware of the present situation. I really do not know what the world is coming to right now. There have been so many disasters happening early this year. Kind of reminds me of 2010. But who knows right?
