This does not work I keep getting “We were unable to verify this credit card. Please check if the information you entered is correct. Please also make sure your credit card billing address matches your PayPal street address.” at Step # 2

hi,thank you for the infos but can I ask if I can go on now and link my bdo card to my paypal? even if Im not enrolled yet in bdo online banking?
and just enroll a week later , and if I get enrolled will I see my paypal transaction in it?
cause its been a week now since Ive enrolled in the bdo online banking but I havn’t received the email confirming my enrollment yet, what I want to do is link my paypal now ,,,wait for the enrollment notification and just browse the previous days where the paypal 4 digit code was sent,,,,and verify my paypal later,,,is this good? will I be able to view all the transactions I made in bdo from the start?

Hi! I followed your advice about enrolling in BDO’s internet Banking get my ATM debit card verified, unfortunately, i still get the same result. My money has been sitting on Paypal for more than 2 weeks now Any advice? thanks

And all this time I thought, EON was my only choice (since I don't want to get a cc) If I had found this sooner, I would have gone for BDO instead of Union Bank.

hi guys,

I have heard that EON card is the only accepted card (hassle free, no headache) in the Philippines to VERIFY your paypal account. I have heard that once your paypal is verified you can add more bank accounts in there. But this, I am not sure yet if you can transfer from paypal to your bdo savings account (not debit card).

Anyway, I really suggest you should get an EON card. No minimum maintenance required (yeah your account could be zero, so very good for students), just a Yearly payment of 350 pesos. Another good thing is if you ask for help from their online tech support or call them directly to their bank branch, you will always get an answer. Unlike other banks, they dont know anything about paypal.

And lastly they have an online paypal guide!!

oh and one last thing. see the “visa” logo in your EON card? it means that you can withdraw to any ATM with “visa electron” logo on it.. Really recommend it. I have been using it for 3 years now =).
