Are you looking for Tokay Gecko buyers or is just looking at how much is its current market price? Before that, you might be wondering why the hell am I writing about stuff that is not related to making money online, technology and other internet stuff. Its because there has been a surge of online searches for Tokay Geckos.
The buzz which started around a few months ago now has reached the internet. The demand for these reptiles skyrocketed mainly due to unestablished facts that they may be the cure to diseases like cancer,AIDs and the like. I don’t really know or care if this is true or not. I am just concerned that people are going crazy hunting for geckos in the hopes of getting some easy money.
It’s been said that the selling price is around P1000 per gram. The average gecko weighs at around 200-300 grams so you can just do the math and see for yourself why many are searching looking for geckos to sell.
Illegal
Engaging in gecko trading without the necessary permits and paperworks is downright illegal and is punishable by imprisonment and/or paying a huge fine. Geckos are essentially not for sale since they play a major role in the ecological balance.
Over the internet, there are many gecko for sale advertisments. These are usually prominent in social media. As to whether there are prospective gecko buyers, that is I’m not really sure. Those who were able to make a deal are usually silent due to the possible legal implications.

I am Manik from Dhaka, Bangladesh, i have collected some gecko & preserving them in my facility located in Chittagong. they are of many dimensions, 300 to 340 gram(17 piece) 340 to 390 gram( 6 piece), 1 of 460 gram, 1 of 435gram, 1 of 510gram,I believe they are very rare & precious species so i believe your pricing needs to be revised, let me know how do you proceed.if the deal is fair & successful then ill manage more for you.but we need at least 1 trial deal of a piece 300 to 340 gram,and the main term is you have to pay cash in dollar or euro at the time of confirmation of buying,you are to check the condition of these at your presence & take spot buying decision. I am unsure what part of the world you are located in. In the United States at lease, the sale of tokay geckos in the pet trade is both prominent and fully legal. However I discourage anyone breeding reptiles purely for profit. Tokays in particular have the reputation of “the pitbull” they are large and when they bite they do not let go!
